The Biscuit Eater Cafe and Books
Our cozy cafe & bookstore is named after a short story about segregation in the American South, our biscuits are part of a long legacy of Black culinary excellence. A Black led businesses on Nova Scotia's South Shore we are located on the South Shore of Mik'mak'i, in one of Mahone Bay's oldest buildings (circa 1775). We value community care & are a refuge + resource for BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, people of colour) and Queer/2SLGBTQ+ communities. Come visit us for afternoon tea, browse our books, or fill up on comfort food!
