A business plan is useful if you are just starting out but is not meant to be put on a shelf and never looked at again.  It is a decision making tool for entrepreneurs to determine the viability of their idea, to plan for startup and set goals for growth of their business.

Program Outcomes:

By the end of this program participants will be introduced to various models of the business plan process using activities for idea generation, validation of the idea through market research, developing a marketing plan used to reach their market, developing a financial plan including cash flow projections and projected income statement, and an operational plan.   It is important that entrepreneurs understand their business inside and out and prepare their own business plan.
