|The Halifax Regional Municipality (HRM) Bridging Program offers up to 18-month Internship opportunities that will offer career related experience to recent graduates in their chosen field of study. The program is aimed at exposing recent graduates to work in the Public Service and to encourage recent graduates to choose Public Service as a viable career option.Under the Bridging Program, HRM is inviting applications for the up to 18 month term position of Policy Intern (Researcher) within the Government Relations and External Affairs (GREA) department.Under the direction of the Advisor, African Nova Scotian Affairs Integration Office, the Policy Intern (Researcher) will support the implementation of the African Nova Scotian Affairs Integration Office business plan and to support the continuing evolution of the Office. The African Nova Scotian Affairs Integration Office of GREA provides leadership, strategic direction, policy advice, and expertise to all parts of the organization to strengthen the delivery of municipal services to residents and communities of African descent within HRM.DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
